1. About AI AppShield

AI AppShield ("AppShield," "we," "us," or "our") is a service operated by TraghmTech that analyzes the structure and documentation of software repositories to produce an AI Readiness Score — a numerical assessment that helps developers understand how effectively their codebase can be understood and leveraged by AI-assisted development tools. AppShield is designed to help you work more effectively with AI coding agents, reduce wasted tokens, improve session quality, and ultimately save time and money.

2. Read-Only Repository Access

AppShield operates on a strict read-only basis. When you connect a GitHub repository, we request only the minimum permissions required to read file structure, documentation files, and repository metadata. We do not request, obtain, or exercise any permission to write, modify, delete, or otherwise alter any file, code, configuration, branch, commit, or any other artifact within your repository. Your code remains entirely under your control at all times.

3. What We Collect and Why

When you use AppShield, we may process the following categories of data:

• Repository metadata — repository name, file names, file count, last pushed date, and the presence or absence of documentation files (e.g., README, CONTRIBUTING, .cursorrules). We do not store the raw contents of your source code files.
• Scan results — AI Readiness Scores, per-file assessments, and improvement recommendations generated from repository metadata.
• Account information — your name and email address as provided through your authentication provider (GitHub via Clerk) for the purpose of maintaining your account and delivering the service.
• Usage data — aggregate, non-identifiable metadata about how features are used, which we may analyze internally to improve the product, diagnose technical issues, plan infrastructure upgrades, and prioritize future development.

4. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or repository data to any third party for commercial purposes — ever. This includes user profiles, account details, repository names, scan results, and any other information associated with your account. Any usage data we analyze internally is used solely to operate and improve AppShield and is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or external commercial entities.

5. Internal Use of Metadata

We may use aggregated, de-identified repository and usage metadata internally for the following legitimate operational purposes:

• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
• Monitoring system performance and reliability
• Planning infrastructure capacity and service upgrades
• Understanding which features deliver the most value to users
• Improving the accuracy and relevance of AI Readiness Score assessments

This analysis is conducted by TraghmTech personnel and automated systems strictly for the purpose of maintaining and improving the AppShield service. It is never used to make decisions about individual users or to build personal profiles for external use.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

AppShield provides AI Readiness Scores and recommendations for informational purposes only. All assessments are generated algorithmically based on the presence, completeness, and structure of repository documentation and metadata. AppShield does not review, evaluate, or take any responsibility for the actual content, quality, security, intellectual property status, or fitness for purpose of any code, data, or other material contained within any repository.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TraghmTech and AI AppShield shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the service, including but not limited to: reliance on any score or recommendation, unauthorized access to your repository by a third party, or any loss of code, data, or business opportunity. Use of AppShield is at your own discretion and risk.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Scan history and repository records are retained for as long as your account is active. You may remove any connected repository from your dashboard at any time, which will delete all associated scan records from our systems. To request full account deletion, contact us at the address below.

8. Third-Party Services

AppShield integrates with the following third-party platforms to deliver the service:

• GitHub — for repository access via OAuth. Governed by GitHub's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Clerk — for user authentication. Governed by Clerk's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — for secure data storage. Governed by Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — for payment processing. Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We do not store payment card information.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using AppShield, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use following notice of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
